Short answerCheck that a current certificate covers the exact product model and names the company actually supplying it. A logo on a catalogue page is not enough.
In more detail
We check three things before offering an item as certified: the certificate holder, the model numbers it covers, and its validity date.
Claims such as ‘home compostable’ or ‘marine degradable’ need their own specific certificates, such as TÜV OK compost HOME. We only use them when that certificate is in hand. Certification logos can only be printed on your pack with the holder's permission.
